Lava Lounge by Pori City played host to yet another showcase of raw talent in search of the next top talent.
Launched last month on 5th March 2024, Talent Tuesday is so dubbed to scout and find the next top talent in rap,spoken word, instruments and song.
Some twenty two up and coming artistes graced the stage last night led by Violinist Mutuku Junior who was flanked by his entire family and friends.
The judge’s bench saw celebrated afro fusion finest Abbi Inyinza and Rap sensation Vicmass Luo Dollar who at some point performed an impromptu collab,hinting at a possible collaboration with Inyinza.
First to showcase her talent was Gladys Mwenesi who sang her own composition of a gospel song “Yesu Ni Bwana”, she captivated fellow artistes and revelers with her strong voice and stage presence.
Rap and spoken word was well represented by Porte who also tried his craft in singing.Kish Deh whose main genre is Dance hall wowed with his moves and performance while little Kelly Demmoh once again proved that she has what it takes to take the crown.
The young stars in the making were backed by The Vibes band who provided support for the singing artists of the night. Bafrano who gave a spell binding Rendition of papa Wemba’s show me the way, not to be left behind while Khanimics Atikha gave Aslay’s Pusha a new lease of life.

Last week’s crowd favorite Randy Teamed up with Ceepee to bring to life Sauti Sol’s Suzzanna to near perfection. But perfomancers by cool and Collected Avon Dido in his own composition My type won the judges heart calling the RnB singer best pop sensation.
The house closed with rap soon to be idol Young El who wowed with his style and performance.
Talent Tuesdays at Lava Lounge by Pori City will see top stars win cash prizes, a recording deal and will seek to train and mentor not just the winners but the entire cohort.
EAJAK secretary Tonny Mochama aka Smitta while joining the judges and artistes stressed that the onus falls on entertainment scribes to shape showbiz opinion.
